Someone who can help to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children's development. The Infant teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching the six week to one year old children in our program, as well as partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and families Create activities that are fun and educational for the children Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child Deliver reports on potential concerns about children to administration as needed Maintain day-to-day classroom activities, including lessons, play, diapering, feeding and rest time for children Keep records of children's progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child's development Qualifications and skills preferred; Associates degree; not required Be at least 18 years of age Minimum of Level 6 on the registry 2+ years' experience working with children Knowledge of Creative Curriculum preferred but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills
