Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Foster a nurturing environment that supports social-emotional growth, independence, and curiosity. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities. Support children with special education needs through early intervention techniques and tailored instructional strategies. Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool teaching. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention programs. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to implement classroom activities that promote physical education, literacy education, math skills, and overall child welfare. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or behavior management are preferred.
