Childcare Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:
Lead Teacher:
Lesson plan and implement age-appropriate activities, organize the physical classroom environment, and create a positive and safe learning space for the children. •Must be lead-qualified or be willing to become lead-qualified by completing required coursework.
Assistant Teacher:
Assist lead teacher in providing high quality, safe care of children. General duties of our
Childcare Toddler Teachers:
Provide a nurturing and safe environment where children can thrive Supervision and management of a group of children Interact with and encourage children in daily activities Assist in preparing and serving meals, promote learning by sitting and talking with children during mealtimes Help with general housekeeping tasks around the center Attend required staff meetings and continuing education trainings Help build a supportive and caring team, by being flexible, responsible, helpful, and kind
Recommended Qualifications:
Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies Strong communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children On the job training is available! Pay:
$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
