Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Toddler Lead with an Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree or certification such as ACDS or WVIT. In this vital role, you will lead a classroom environment focused on nurturing young children during their most formative years. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to individual infants and toddlers that promote literacy, social-emotional skills, and physical development. Lead daily classroom activities that support childhood development milestones, ensuring a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and independence. Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and sensory activities with compassion and professionalism. Utilize positive behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and address challenges constructively while maintaining a supportive atmosphere. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental needs, and strategies for at-home reinforcement. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and best practices in childcare and preschool settings. Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, special education needs, or other relevant pedagogies. Requirements Valid ECE Degree (Early Childhood Education), or certifications such as ACDS and WVIT. Proven experience working with infants and toddlers in a classroom or daycare setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development, classroom management techniques, and positive behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners.
