Job Description
Position Overview Amplify Children's Academy is an early childhood academy dedicated to forming deep, meaningful relationships that feel like an extension of the family. Our classrooms are dynamic, child-directed, and intentionally designed to grow alongside the children we serve. We believe children are capable of more than is often expected—and we seek educators who share that belief and hold themselves to a high standard of care, curiosity, and excellence. At Amplify, our team members ("Amplifiers") are relationship-driven, joyful, and deeply invested in their work. Excellence isn't optional here—it's expressed through consistency, professionalism, thoughtful preparation, and a genuine commitment to every child and family. Key Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Actively supporting classroom learning by developing a deep understanding of each child's strengths, needs, and family context, and using that knowledge to inform daily interactions and instruction. Carrying out all child care routines with excellence, consistency, and attention to detail. This includes diapering, handwashing, meals, naps, and transitions—always aligned with best practices in child development and hygiene. Ensuring the physical and emotional safety of all children through constant supervision, intentional room arrangement, and proactive care of classroom materials and equipment. Maintaining full compliance with state child care licensing standards, Amplify's Employee Handbook, and internal policies—demonstrating professionalism and accountability at all times. Communicating clearly and consistently with families by sharing meaningful daily updates, observations, and milestones through in-person interactions and the approved child care management app. Implementing a high-quality, developmentally appropriate program that supports each child's physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth, while remaining flexible and responsive to children's interests and needs. What We Value We are looking for educators who take pride in their work, embrace feedback, and are committed to continuous growth. At Amplify, excellence shows up in preparation, presence, follow-through, and the belief that children—and educators—thrive when expectations are high and support is strong.
