Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate early literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning aligned with preschool standards and Montessori principles. Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development milestones, including toddler care and early intervention strategies. Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs related to special education or child welfare, and foster strong home-school connections. Maintain detailed records of student progress, conduct assessments including standardized testing when appropriate, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning styles. Manage classroom routines effectively to ensure safety, discipline, and an optimal learning atmosphere for all students. Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, literacy education, classroom management, and childcare best practices. Skills Proven experience in preschool teaching or daycare settings with a focus on childhood development and classroom management. Strong knowledge of curriculum development across early childhood subjects such as math, literacy education, physical education, and Montessori methods. Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, while applying behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention programs to support diverse learners. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Skilled in lesson planning that integrates standardized testing preparation and tutoring techniques when necessary. Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and supports emotional growth.
