At Sweet Spirits Preschool & Child Care, we are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. Through intentional lessons and hands-on activities, you'll foster each child's social, emotional, and academic development while building meaningful connections with families. What You'll Do Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum using the Frogstreet Press Curriculum , designed to promote literacy, math, physical education, and whole-child development. Create lesson plans aligned with developmental standards and tailored to diverse student needs. Guide classroom behavior with positive strategies to maintain a fun and structured environment. Support children with unique needs through early intervention techniques. Incorporate hands-on, play-based learning to spark curiosity and creativity. Communicate openly with families about progress, milestones, and classroom happenings. Supervise daily routines, including playtime, snack time, and activity transitions. Collaborate with fellow teachers to strengthen the overall classroom experience. Conduct developmental assessments and adjust teaching methods as needed. What We're Looking For Background in early childhood education and experience in preschool settings. Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning for young learners. Familiarity or willingness to learn and implement the Frogstreet Press Curriculum . Knowledge of positive classroom management strategies. Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues. Passion for fostering healthy habits and whole-child development. Familiarity with Montessori or other child-centered philosophies is a plus. Why Sweet Spirits?
