A Psychology Professor teaches foundational psychological ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field. In some cases, psychology professors will perform therapeutic services.

Job Description
D. Area of interest is open; however, we are especially interested in applicants who can contribute to the broad and general aspects of training (e.g., psychological testing, assessment, diversity, adult psychopathology and/or child/adolescent psychopathology, and other discipline-specific knowledge areas). Applications from individuals with culturally diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged. UE has established a new Doctor of Psychology program. As such, this position will fill an important role as a core faculty member in the Psy.
D. program. Position responsibilities will include course development, participating in the APA accreditation process, teaching core curriculum consistent with the Standards of Accreditation, and contributing to programmatic growth.
