Discussion/Lab section instructors work under the supervision of the lead course instructor, who determines the content and often designs the lesson plans for discussion/lab sections. This appointment is scheduled to begin on August 25, 2026 and end on December 31, 2026. Based on the courses, this position could teach 2-6 discussion or lab sections per week for the Fall 2026 term, for no more than two separate course preps (or the equivalent of two courses). Duties of these LEO Lecturer I positions are expected to include but are not limited to the following: attend weekly course lectures given by the lead course instructor, teach, evaluate and grade students, respond to student emails in timely manner, hold regularly scheduled office hours, hold review sessions, proctor exams, attend weekly team meetings with the courses lead instructor and other discussion/lab section leaders.
