Additional Qualifications Doctorate in Psychology, or closely related field Potential for or evidence of, learner centered pedagogy Ability to teach courses in the Psy.
D. program License or license-eligible to practice Psychology in the state of Missouri The ability or potential to mentor and support our racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse student population The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the neural, physiological, and genetic foundations of behavior and the ability to effectively engage undergraduate and graduate students in research. The Assistant Professor's teaching responsibilities are assigned by the academic department head and may include serving as an academic advisor. The Assistant Professor engages in scholarly activities beyond those associated with teaching and is expected to demonstrate professional productivity in research, based upon the availability of resources and consistent with the mission of the University.
