QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Adjunct Lecturer:
Must possess a baccalaureate degree and such other qualifications as may be necessary for the satisfactory performance of his/her instructional functions
Adjunct Assistant Professor:
Must have obtained the Ph.D. degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited university. Demonstrated satisfactory qualities of personality and character, evidence of significant success as a teacher, interest in productive scholarship or creative achievement, and willingness to cooperate with others for the good of the institution Prior undergraduate and/or graduate level teaching experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
For Adjunct Lecturer, a master's degree is preferred. PhD degree in Psychology Preferred areas: Educational Psychology, Health Psychology, Social Justice, Developmental Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Consumer Psychology/Behavior, Forensic Psychology/Psychology and Law, Research Methods, and Statistics Prior online teaching experience
COMPENSATION
Adjunct Lecturer:
$112.50/hr
Adjunct Assistant Professor:
$120.83/hr Rates for eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the
PSC-CUNY
collective bargaining agreement.
