About BUMI:

Buckeye Union Mandarin Immersion Charter School is an innovative Chinese immersion program that provides students with the opportunity to develop bilingualism and biliteracy through a rigorous academic curriculum. Students gain mastery of Chinese reading, writing (Simplified Characters), Mandarin listening, and speaking through whole-class instruction, small-group activities, and individualized learning opportunities. Student progress is evaluated using the ACTFL Proficiency Benchmarks. • Cover letter
• Resume
• Three current letters of recommendation (within the last two years)
• Copy of valid teaching credential & Bilingual Authorization in Mandarin (BAMA)
• Copy of EL Authorization (if not included in credential)

Credential and Certificate Requirements:

A Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Bilingual Authorization in Mandarin (BAMA) are required for this position.
