04/21/2026 Here at Coal Ridge Middle, we offer traditional core classes that are rich in vigor and follow our district's curriculum guide. In addition to our traditional classes, we offer high level advanced core classes in two core areas: Math and Language Arts. These classes embrace curriculum and instruction that: Provide opportunities for students to develop in-depth understanding Develop an awareness of student's own learning and thinking processes Include student's interests and passions Provide choices for the learner around outcome products Involve students in setting goals for their learning and assessing their progress toward those goals Stretch the student's level of knowledge and understanding; they must be willing to go past their "comfort zone" Weave several district and state standards through engaging instruction that demands higher-level thinking Click here for more information about Coal Ridge Middle School.

186 The designated secondary literacy person at the building level will become the point of contact for literacy related inquiries, including but not limited to, inquiries regarding dyslexia, READ plan logistics, evidence-based literacy intervention information, etc. St. Vrain Valley Schools values the health and well-being of its employees and seeks to establish and maintain a culture of health and wellness that encourages and supports healthy behaviors, a sense of community and an improved quality of life.
