PROGRAMLOCATION
Missituk Elementary School Nature and ScopeMedford Public Schools seeks instructional aides to support the Summer 2026 Elementary English Learner (EL) Enrichment Program for students currently in grades K5. The program blends English language development, literacy, and math instruction with engaging enrichment activities. Aides will work closely with classroom teachers to support instruction, student engagement, and daily program operations.

ResponsibilitiesFollow all summer school procedures and district protocolsSupport teachers in delivering lessons aligned to WIDA, ELA, and Math standardsProvide small-group and individualized student support as directed by the classroom teacherAssist with preparation of instructional materials and classroom organizationReinforce academic and enrichment activitiesMaintain student attendance records as directedAssist with supervision during transitions and enrichment activitiesMinimum QualificationsExperience working with elementary-aged studentsExperience working with English Learners and/or multilingual students preferredAbility to follow teacher direction and work collaborativelyStrong communication skills with students and staffRate and Schedule$26 per hour Mondays through Thursdays, 8:15 a.m. 12:15 p.m. (Students attend 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m.)
Program Dates:
Monday, June 29, 2026 Thursday, July 23, 202616 days at 4 hours per day
Total:
64 hours ($1,664), pending Title III grant funding
