Roseville Area Middle School Position Overview:
Roseville Area Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered educator to serve as a Title I Coordinator and Reading Interventionist. This multifaceted role focuses on providing targeted literacy support to students while managing the administrative coordination of Title I programming to ensure compliance and instructional excellence. This is a 1.0 FTE position starting August 31, 2026.
Core Responsibilities:
Direct Instruction:
Provide high-quality 1:15 small-group reading intervention during a 45-minute class period.
Program Coordination:
Oversee Title I program operations, including budget monitoring, resource allocation, and ensuring all activities align with federal and state Title I guidelines.
Data Analysis:
Regularly assess student progress using district-approved tools, using data to drive instructional decisions and identify students for intervention services.
Collaboration:
Work closely with classroom teachers, the District Title I Coordinator, and school leadership to integrate intervention strategies with core classroom instruction.
Family Engagement:
Facilitate Title I parent outreach and involvement activities to strengthen the connection between home and school.
Qualifications:
Licensure:
Valid Minnesota Teaching License that qualifies to teach 7th and 8th grade
English Language Arts Experience:
Has worked in a Title I Intervention program.
Skills:
Strong understanding of evidence-based literacy interventions and experience with Title I compliance.
Equity Mindset:
A deep commitment to an equitable education experience for all students and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Compensation:
Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085, plus a district contribution towards insurance.
