Aug 27, 2026 Job Description Reading Specialist, Windham, SAU #95 Windham, NH 2026-2027 School Year Windham Center School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Reading Specialist to provide high-quality reading and literacy instruction to students in grades 5 and 6. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to supporting diverse learners through evidence-based literacy practices. This position works collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Student Support Team (SST) RTI teacher to identify student needs, implement targeted intervention plans, and monitor student progress. The Reading Specialist will provide direct literacy instruction in both classroom and small-group settings while helping students develop the skills necessary to become confident, successful readers.
Qualifications:
Valid New Hampshire certification as a Reading and Writing Specialist or eligibility for certification is required.

In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Windham Education Association
