Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Westchester Community College is more than just the county's largest educational institution. SUNY Westchester Community College, Department of English, Reading & ESL, seeks a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Analytical Reading (READ 105) 3 hours per week.Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited university and one year of relevant experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A Master's degree in Reading, Literacy, Applied Linguistics, or Reading Education is preferred.Additional Information:
HOURLY RATE OF PAY
