Central Processing Sterilization Instructor Philadelphia, PA Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Qualifications CRCST Student record keeping Tutorial sessions Mid-level Curriculum implementation Academic assessment administration Classroom Teaching Test-based student assessment Collaborative teaching Full Job Description CPS Instructor Job description Your primary role, until you are assigned your own students, is to work with students from all cohorts that are having challenges with the curriculum to ensure that they can comprehend the material and pass all exams. Also, provide backup or fill-in for instructors who need assistance with their class. Upon being assigned your own students, you take on the responsibility of taking them through the training curriculum and preparing them for their certification exam. This includes but is not limited to the following: Collaborate with other instructors to ensure that lessons and materials are consistent for day and evening students. Collaborate with other instructors regarding use of the rooms, supplies and equipment. Participate in the Lab/Hands-on portion of the curriculum Assist with development and implementation of training curriculum as needed and work within the parameters of any changes in the curriculum that may arise. Teach the depth and scope of class materials as outlined in the syllabus and catalog and relate the instruction to careers and employer expectations. Develop hands-on projects related to course material as needed. Tutor individuals and groups as needed. Ensure that students are properly dressed and operating equipment and instruments safely. Develop, administer, and grade exams. Track and report student grades and attendance in a timely manner. Identify students who have successfully completed graduation requirements. Nominate students for graduation awards. Participate in and attend all PTTI graduation ceremonies that have students in your program. Attend faculty meetings some of which may be at the beginning of your workday. Monitor supplies and equipment and submit requests to the Operations Manager. Work in concert with the Career Services Department to develop potential internships for students. Develop relationships for and participate in field trips. Fill-in for teachers that are out sick or on vacation. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Must be
