Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Reading Specialist on a contract assignment within an elementary and K8 caseload setting. Consisting of two full-time openings with 35-hour workweeks, this role starts as soon as possible and continues through June 10, 2027. All work is onsite in a vibrant, urban educational environment near Philadelphia, where you'll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and staff.

Key Qualifications:

Active PA certification/licensure with a reading specialist endorsement is required Demonstrated mastery of reading instruction and related subject matter Previous school-based experience and proven resourcefulness Ability to create engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans that incorporate differentiated instruction and formative assessment Strong classroom and behavioral management skills Experience working in urban school settings and comfort with district expectations Ability to complete all required PA clearances Reliable transportation for daily travel to onsite location
