Position Summary:
Join us to be part of a dynamic, vibrant, and welcoming community! Middlebridge School is seeking candidates for the position of Reading and Language Specialist and Academic Coach. Middlebridge Students are complicated learners who demonstrate a distinct pattern of strengths and challenges in their academic profile. Our students are bright, capable, college-bound teens. Our students often come to us with language-based learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia, as well as challenges with attention, executive functioning, or school-related anxiety. Middlebridge students attend a daily 1:1 Tutorial with a Reading and Language Specialist to address specific areas of need and remediation. Reading and Language Specialist will work closely with administrative faculty and supervisors to design and implement student programs. Our approach is individualized, diagnostic and prescriptive, direct, structured, and systematic to develop proficiency in reading and writing and to support students to become successful, independent learners.
