Job Description

Company Overview Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is dedicated to promoting the dignity of human life within a variety of high-quality, specialized communities. We provide older adults with programs and community-based services that enable them to live their best lives fully and vibrantly. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and proactive Social and Environmental Wellness Champion to join our team. This role is vital and functions as the Social and Environmental Wellness Champion for all of Cardinal Ritter Senior Services. Responsible for designing, developing, organizing, and implementing a robust Social and Environmental Wellness Program tailored to each level of living at CRSS. Programming should take into consideration the importance of the dignity of each resident and the philosophy of the Ministry. Responsibilities Design, develop, organize, and implement Social and Environmental Wellness offerings to all residents of CRSS. Will meet monthly and work collaboratively with the entire Wellness Team to design a well-rounded wellness program and create a community calendar. Establish communication and effective working relationships with other departments. Schedule and oversee inter-community social events, as well as social events for specific levels of living. Coordinate resident overnight trips two (2) per year. Implement and lead an environmental club for each level of living. Research and implement environmentally friendly initiatives for all levels of living. Participate in department, interdepartmental meetings, and other scheduled meetings as they relate to Administration and/or resident care. Track participation of residents in all Social and Environmental Wellness programming. Provide Social and Environmental Wellness resources to all residents. Secure and maintain any needed supplies. Help assist with any employee wellness programming. Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge and Experience Requirements Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy or a similar degree. Must have 3+ years experience working with older adults. Must obtain CDL license within 3 months of hire. Must become a PAC Champion within 6 months of hire. Must be CPR/AED/First Aid certified. Experience with teaching health and wellness classes. Ability to perform the required physical and sensory aspects of the position. Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to manage Social and Environmental Wellness budget. Knowledge of all corporate and facility policies and all Federal, State, and Local regulations. Must be able to perform requirements of position within regulatory guidelines and limitations. Skills Required Maintain CPR/AED/First Aid Certification Maintain CDL Licensure Strong knowledge of Dimensions of Wellness with Champion-level knowledge of Social and Environmental Wellness. Utilize safety techniques and infection control practices in all aspects of task performances. Strong leadership and project management skills. Knowledge of current wellness trends and best practices. Excellent time management skills. Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Experience with data analysis and outcome measurement. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups. Proven track record in program development and management. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to motivate and inspire others. Proficient in Microsoft Office and wellness software tools. #IND2
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
