Overview:

Enterprise is a public charter school in Buffalo, New York educating children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Founded in 2003, ECS is committed to "Engaging young minds through projects and partnerships." We pursue our mission through our Charter's key design elements, with our primary focus on highly engaging project-based learning, comprehensive arts education, and individualized instruction for enrichment and acceleration. Enterprise Charter School is seeking a Health Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. The ideal candidate must possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Health Education, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated interest in impacting K-8 students in urban schools and communities. Academic expertise in health education, nutrition, wellness, and social-emotional learning. Understanding of formative and summative assessments. Demonstrated excellence in teaching. Skills in analyzing and using data to make instructional and behavioral decisions. Experience, knowledge, and background related to NYS Learning Standards for Health Education. Ability to create engaging lessons that promote healthy lifestyles, decision-making, and personal wellness. Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred. New York State certification in Health Education preferred. Enterprise Charter School offers a competitive salary, health benefits, and is a member of the NYS Teacher Retirement System.
