Job Description
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Must possess Bachelor's Degree in education or related discipline with a minimum of 18 hours of undergraduate credit in the areas of Instructional Methodology, Tests and Measurements, Educational Psychology, Curriculum Development or Learning Theory.Training and Experience:
Must have attended the military ISD course, or civilian equivalent. Possess one (1) year experience in training development. Possess one (1) year experience in developing computer-based instruction. Portfolio, or sample of lesson to demonstrate mastery of ISD. The following qualifications are desired: Area of educational emphasis in instructional technology. 3-years' experience in training development.General Skills:
Must be able to handle multiple tasks, a self-starter, flexible in work assignments, detail oriented, highly organized, possess good interpersonal and written communication skills, and work under limited supervision.Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with normal government software and hardware.Security Clearance:
Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze, develop and review all scheduled courseware and related materials. Analyze test items and cumulative data for trends for all courseware (as defined in AFM 36-2234 and DAFH 36-2675, Volume 2). Maintain analysis results in the corresponding lesson's production folder. Pursue the use of current technology, teaching tools and techniques that are compatible with Government media systems. Contractors shall build courseware training materials IAW Instructional Systems Development (ISD) guidance set forth inAFI 36-2201, AFMAN
36-2234, andDAFH 36-2675
Vols 1-11. The contractor shall use the following standards and objectives to develop courseware: Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Network, Sharable Courseware Object Reference Model (SCORM). Courseware interchange and run time requirements (such as SCORM) shall allow flexibility of content use and deployment of the courseware. Employ metadata characteristics including a listing of commonly defined fields for each learning object. These fields shall adhere to an accepted set of rules. Creating, handling, and storing the data and electronically transferring the information shall use common standards of operability. Contractor-developed CBT will be a minimum of level 2 interactivity as defined inACCI 11-251.
Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. Hourly rate is $63.80/hr plus health and welfare.Similar remote jobs
