Must have a Valid California Teaching Clear or Preliminary credential in Chemistry & Physics and at least two years of teaching experience with ELA Authorization. or a District Intern Permit, Short Term Staff Permit or Provisional Permit to teach (must have 18 subject units in the subject matter for a Short-Term Staff Permit or Provisional Permit).- Must have a B.A., B.S., or A.A. Degree (when applicable).
- Valid Driver's License and insurance.
Fundamental Responsibilities:
Provide instruction to at-risk students. Teach content and skills in the assigned subject matter. Develop and implement lesson plans for multi-subject and/or single subject curriculum. To improve academic skills and to provide career and vocational awareness/education. Instruct Students in citizenship, and basic communication skills. This position needs to work effectively with multi-cultural/diverse groups, and have the ability to establish a positive relationship with Students possess knowledge of concepts in computers in an instructional environment.
