JOB DESCRIPTION

Courses to be taught may include General Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry and General, Organic and Biological Chemistry.

Minimum Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Masters in chemistry OR Bachelors in chemistry or biochemistry AND Masters in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. Previous teaching experience. Experience using multi-modal approaches and student-centered pedagogy to meet the needs of first generation, immigrant, and low-income students.
