Mountain View, CA 94040 Job Summary We are seeking a well prepared Science Teacher to support a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. In this role, you will prepare a well developed science curriculum that promotes children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play, exploration, and structured learning. This role is for 1 hour a week and teacher must speak Russian. This position is within a licensed in-home childcare setting that operates similarly to a child care center. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. Be well prepared with a science curriculum Support developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning through play and hands-on experiences. Encourage positive behavior using age-appropriate guidance and reinforcement. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with the provider and teaching staff. Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements. Support documentation of daily activities and child observations as needed. Requirements (If any) Mandated reporter LiveScan Experience & Qualifications Previous experience working with young children preferred Must speak Russian Previous experience teaching science Basic understanding of early childhood development.
