The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, foster critical thinking skills, and support student growth through differentiated instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in core subject areas.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Utilize data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
- Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Communicate student progress with parents/guardians and collaborate on student success plans.
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and administrators to enhance student learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
- Engage in school-wide initiatives, committees, and extracurricular activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or working on credential
- Prior teaching experience preferred (at least 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and/or Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:
