Exempt Description:
A High School Science Teacher is responsible for passionately providing instruction in the field of science, promoting student progress, and promoting and managing a safe, positive classroom environment.
Spiritual Qualifications:
Demonstrates a passion for Christ and His Kingdom through personal spiritual discipline and public ministry. Seeks to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability, and service to his Kingdom.
Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field of study from an accredited university or college required Master's degree and/or California teaching credential and/or ACSI certification desirable Ability to effectively teach physical and life sciences and/or biology and chemistry essentials Command of subject matter and ability to wisely engage students as demonstrated through quality experience desirable Ability to comply with both written and oral instructions Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills Proficiency in demonstrating effective organizational skills Self-motivated Desire to serve in co-curricular activities, such as athletics or arts, welcomed Obtain certificate of negative result for TB screening prior to hire Cleared live scan background check

Assist Robotics class and competitive Robotics Club if needed.
