August 2026 Overview North Miami Beach Academy seeks a dynamic Math & Science Teacher to deliver advanced and honors instruction to middle and high school students. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping motivated learners excel through clear instruction, hands-on exploration, and small-group support. Responsibilities Deliver advanced and honors math and science lessons for grades 6-12. Work with small groups for enrichment, acceleration, and targeted instruction. Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of advanced learners. Create a positive, challenging classroom environment that promotes inquiry and critical thinking. Use data and assessments to monitor student progress. Communicate regularly with students and families.

Qualifications Required:

Master's degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or related field Teaching certification or eligibility for certification (State of Florida) Experience teaching middle or high school students

Preferred:

Doctorate degree in a STEM field Experience with honors or accelerated coursework Strong skills in inquiry-based, project-based, or interdisciplinary instruction Ability to integrate technology effectively
