Academy is seeking an engaging, organized, and student-centered Science & Aerospace Teacher to join our growing team for the upcoming school year. At
LFEC STREAM
Academy, we believe in small class sizes, meaningful relationships, and innovative learning experiences that prepare students for the future. Our unique STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) model includes a strong emphasis on aerospace and career-connected learning. Position Overview We are seeking a teacher with a strong science background, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to create engaging, standards-aligned lessons in a supportive small-school setting. Aerospace experience or background is a strong plus, but not required.
Teaching Responsibilities This position includes:

Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Biology, Environmental Science, Physical Science, Education with Science emphasis, or related field) Strong science content knowledge Excellent classroom management skills Ability to develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans Strong organization, communication, and planning skills Passion for engaging students through hands-on and project-based learning
Preferred:
Teaching experience in middle or high school science Aerospace, aviation, engineering, or STEM/aerospace program experience Experience with project-based or STREAM learning environments Ideal Candidate The ideal teacher is: Highly organized and proactive Strong in classroom management and student engagement Passionate about science and real-world learning Comfortable teaching a variety of science-related courses Excited to be part of a collaborative, mission-driven school community
