Academy is seeking an engaging, organized, and student-centered Science & Aerospace Teacher to join our growing team for the upcoming school year. At

Our unique STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) model includes a strong emphasis on aerospace and career-connected learning. Position Overview We are seeking a teacher with a strong science background, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to create engaging, standards-aligned lessons in a supportive small-school setting. Aerospace experience or background is a strong plus, but not required.

Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (Biology, Environmental Science, Physical Science, Education with Science emphasis, or related field) Strong science content knowledge Excellent classroom management skills Ability to develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans Strong organization, communication, and planning skills Passion for engaging students through hands-on and project-based learning

Preferred:

Teaching experience in middle or high school science Aerospace, aviation, engineering, or STEM/aerospace program experience Experience with project-based or STREAM learning environments Ideal Candidate The ideal teacher is: Highly organized and proactive Strong in classroom management and student engagement Passionate about science and real-world learning Comfortable teaching a variety of science-related courses Excited to be part of a collaborative, mission-driven school community
