High School Science Teacher TeachIowa Kingsley, IA 51028 Full-time Full-time High School Science Teacher Job Description Kingsley-Pierson Community School District The Kingsley-Pierson Community School District is seeking a highly motivated, student-centered educator to serve as a High School Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional skills, positive relationship-building abilities, and a passion for helping students succeed both academically and personally. Primary Teaching Responsibilities Courses may include, but are not limited to: Chemistry Physics Physical Science Other high school science electives as assigned Additional teaching assignments may be considered based on district needs and candidate qualifications. Responsibilities Develop and deliver standards-aligned instruction Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs Maintain accurate student records and communicate student progress effectively Foster a safe, respectful, and positive classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff Participate in professional development and district initiatives Supervise students during assigned duties and activities Support the mission and goals of the Kingsley-Pierson Community School District Coaching & Sponsorship Opportunities Coaching and extracurricular sponsorship opportunities may be available but are not required for employment.
