As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success by providing personalized instruction and support. Whether it's helping with homework, preparing for exams, or developing study skills, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one sessions to students to help with current homework, prep for test/quizzes, create study guides., etc.. Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter Assess students' individual needs and guide the lesson to address students' specific target goals and scores Benefits of working at

Huntington Learning Center:
Training:

We offer continual training that all teachers can learn and grow from. Huntington skills and techniques will be taught to you and can be utilized both inside and outside of the classroom. Become a more effective teacher as you enhance your current skills and develop new ones!

Students:

Work with students based on your experience on an individual or one-on-one basis. As you track students' daily progress, you will see marked improvement in their skills, confidence, and motivation. Since full-time staff conducts all parent discussions, you are not required to interact with parents.

No outside work:

With no homework to correct or lesson plans to develop, you just walk into the Center and begin teaching. Everything is ready for you.

Year-round flexible hours:

Our after-school and summer hours adapt to your changing schedule! Since no preparation is needed beforehand, it's an ideal after-school job.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree required . We have many opportunities for professionals from eclectic backgrounds in education or related fields Teaching Certificate preferred, but not required.

Teaching/Tutoring:

1 year (Preferred) Willing to work a minimum of 3 days (10-20 hours) per week and must be flexible Ability to reliably commute to Boise/Eagle (83713) You must have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of our students.

Job Type :
Part-time Salary:

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours : 10 - 20 per week or more

Schedule:

After school and weekends (no hours between 10am-3pm except during summer)

Weekdays:
M/T/Th/F:

3-8pm and Wed 1-8pm

Weekends:
