Secondary Science Teacher (Grades 7 through 12)

About us North Valley Academy Charter School is a small business in Gooding, ID. We are professional, fast-paced, challenging and our goal is to North Valley Academy, an American Heritage Charter School located in Gooding, Idaho, is seeking a full-time, certified 7th - 12th grade Science instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The instructor will develop a yearly plan for instructional content as well as present the school's American Heritage curriculum, a character education program at North Valley Academy. The instructor will attend meetings, work closely with other instructors to develop programs for students, and adhere to all the policies and expectations set by the district. Responsibilities:

Plan and implement North Valley Academy Charter School's lesson plans and curriculum Motivate students to learn, excel and excel in school Supervise the classroom Assess students' performance, abilities, aptitudes, interests, needs, abilities, interests, etc. Prepare students for tests by providing them with material and tools for study (homework help, test preparation materials etc.) Collaborate with parents and teachers to create a learning environment that is conducive to learning Maintain a clean and tidy classroom Plan Classes (expectable attendance, schedules etc.) Monitor students' progress to ensure they are on track for their goals Attend staff meetings and trainings in order to develop professional skills

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a background check
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a school environment required (Preferred)

$51,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
