Key Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field. Hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License with the appropriate endorsements. Demonstrated understanding and experience with curriculum design, planning, and instruction at the middle school level. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to connect effectively with students, staff, and families.
Your Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging science lessons tailored to the 6th-grade curriculum, fostering inquiry and hands-on exploration. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional strategies and support school-wide initiatives. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress, achievements, and challenges. Attend required staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
