VACANCY 8TH GRADE SCIENCE TEACHER

Centerville-Abington Junior High School is accepting applications for an 8th Grade Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year . We are seeking a passionate, student-centered educator who is committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of science through engaging, hands-on instruction. The ideal candidate will build positive relationships with students, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and create a classroom environment where all learners can succeed. Qualifications Valid Indiana teaching license in Science (Grades 5-8) or another appropriate Indiana science licensure, or eligibility to obtain such licensure. Strong instructional, classroom management, and communication skills. Commitment to collaboration, professional growth, and student achievement. A completed application file must include: Letter of application expressing interest in the position Current resume Placement file or letters of recommendation (if applicable) Completed online application Copy of a valid Indiana teaching license, or documentation of eligibility for licensure Copies of all college transcripts Applications will be accepted until August 14, 2026.
