Position Title:
8th Grade Science Teacher
Position Summary:
Teacher will be responsible for instruction of science students. Strong classroom management will be needed to maintain a positive classroom environment during labs. Candidate should have experience with working with chemicals and hands-on materials that are included in the Purdue Science Kits. Candidate will have to work collaboratively with the Language Arts, Math and Social Studies teachers.
Immediate Supervisor:
Principal
Duties:
Teach general science according to the Indiana Department of Education Science Standards.
Qualifications:
Science License or Science Endorsement 5-12 Highly qualified Applicants must not have been evaluated as ineffective or recommended for probation assistance on their most recent evaluation.
