Organization Information Morgan County has four elementary schools (grades kindergarten-5), one middle school (grades 6-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). The district is directed by a five-member elected board of education and facilitated by a district superintendent with the assistance of the Central Office staff. Each school is guided by a School Based Decision Making (SBDM) council consisting of the principal, three teachers elected by the teaching staff, and two parents elected by the parent population. The school district employs 160 certified and 185 classified staff to provide optimal learning opportunities for all students. The district curriculum adheres to state and national standards and sets high expectations for all students. As a district, our goal is for provide the buidling blocks for all students to be successful, lifelong learners.
