Job Description

This position is a full-time, in person, 9-month, unclassified, on-site faculty position for our Bossier campus. QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, and/or related field with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in discipline.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Instructor duties to include but not limited to instruction of students. Contributions to the continued development of the curriculum. Participation in professional growth and community service. Maintenance of conference and academic advising hours. Participation in committees as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls. Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds. Must be capable of sitting in a stationary position for 50% or more of workday.
