INFORMATION:
Lenox Public Schools is seeking candidates for a full-time science teaching position for grades 9-12. Ability to teach Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, and Anatomy and Physiology is essential. MA licensure in Biology or Earth & Space Science in grades 8-12 required. SEI Endorsement is also required. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of core concepts across earth, life, biological, and physical sciences, along with the ability to integrate educational technology—including AI-driven tools—to enhance student learning and engagement. The candidate should also be prepared to support diverse learners through effective instructional strategies, including the integration of language development within science instruction. This position requires close collaboration with colleagues to ensure vertical alignment of the science curriculum. The candidate will contribute to interdisciplinary learning experiences, promote meaningful real-world connections, and use a variety of instructional approaches and technology tools to foster student creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Salary Scale Lenox Public Schools is committed to professional growth. Newly hired teachers are eligible for tuition and fee reimbursement for a Master's degree, equivalent to the tuition and fees at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, in accordance with district policy.
