Job Description

MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic High School Physical Science Teacher to join its instructional staff at Bonny Eagle High School located in Standish, Maine, for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom; to motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child; and to respond to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional programs and student progress. Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; Maine Department of Education certification in content area (#395 endorsement); experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
