Job Description
Vassalboro Community School has an opening for a full time Computer Teacher. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Maine Teacher Certification (or eligibility) appropriate for the position 680 endorsement preferred, but not required The successful candidate will possess or have the ability to develop skills in the following areas: Commitment to student-centered instruction and collaborative practice Experience with elementary and middle school instruction preferred Have the ability to teach computer skills to elementary and middle school students within Google Workplace including but not limited to: Basic coding Digital citizenship and internet safety Keyboarding Word processing and spreadsheets Multimedia and presentation tools Robotics, 3D printing and other STEM instruction To Apply Interested candidates should submit the following to Principal Tabitha Brewer either in person or via email at tbrewer@vcsvikings.
