Winslow Public Schools Computer Teacher -
Winslow Elementary School Position:
Computer Teacher (K-6) Winslow Elementary School (WES) is actively seeking a Computer teacher to join our exceptional team for the 2026-2027 school year. At WES, we are committed to academic excellence, innovation, and the development of the whole child. Through strong partnerships with families and the community, WES fosters curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and responsible digital citizenship, empowering our students to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities Include:
Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students Create a safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects in alignment with curriculum goals, guiding the learning process and communicating these targets to students Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior Participate actively in all Team meetings and school-wide professional development Maintain strong, positive partnerships with families to support student success Assumes other duties reasonably assigned by the principal
Qualifications:
Elementary and computer/technology teaching experience preferred Training or experience with Responsive Classroom/Regulated Classroom is a plus Experience with a variety of elementary-level teaching practices preferred Possess strong classroom management skills A commitment to continuous professional growth and collaborative practice Must hold appropriate teacher certification Click here for the Teacher Application All School employees are required to have Fingerprint (CHRC)
