High School Science/Mathematics Teacher

The Ishpeming Public School District announces a vacancy for a full-time high school science/mathematics teacher at Ishpeming High School. Candidates must possess a minimum of a

B.A./B.S.

degree, and Michigan secondary science and secondary mathematics certification. A Science and Mathematics endorsement is preferred. Candidates must meet the

USDOE/MDE

highly qualified requirements. Candidates must possess a strong background in science and mathematics. Candidates must possess strong instructional skills. Candidates must possess the ability to plan, organize, and instruct science and mathematics classes at all levels in grades 9-12. Candidates must possess classroom management skills. The Board of Education may employ an individual with such alternative qualifications that the Board may find to be acceptable and appropriate.
