Job Description General Information/Duties:
Plan, deliver, and assess instruction consistent with district curriculum Provide a variety of learning methods and resources to engage students in educational activities and lessons Continuously monitor and evaluate student outcomes through informal and formative assessments Effectively and consistently communicate and interact with students, parents, staff, and the community Be a team player; working with other members to improve techniques, relations with the community, and school environment Committed to continuous improvement through training and the use of technology. Participate in district-wide professional development Perform other duties consistent within the scope of the position
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree Current & appropriate Michigan certifications Demonstrated skills in the use of technology Ability and willingness to work in a team setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the academic, social, and emotional needs of the high school age student is required.
Terms of Employment:
Full-time position. All terms per Master Contract between Board of Education and the Tecumseh Education Association/MEA. Minimum starting contract salary $41,375
