POSITION TITLE:

CTE Health Science Instructor (CNA) Instructor

POSITION SUMMARY

Serves as primary instructor for a Certified Nursing Assistant training program for high school students in the second year of a CTE Health Science program. Serves as instructor for three classes with up to 12 second year students per class.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ÿ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Ÿ Has at least one full year of experience as a nurse in a long-term care facility Ÿ Has worked as a nurse within the last three years Ÿ Ability to qualify for CTE Annual Career Authorization to teach high school students (4000 hours of recent/relevant experience in Healthcare field over the last 10 years)

Commensurate with experience according to

instructor pay scale Salary figures are based on the 2025-2026 academic calendar. Please note that the 2026-2027 salary scale is being finalized through upcoming negotiations.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Monday through Friday, 185-day position follows 10-month school calendar from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, .
