This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. ‍

All board members, faculty and staff are joining a covenant community in serving here at Hope Academy. ‍ Job Details Teach two sections of Chemistry and two sections of Physics. This teacher also teaches one elective course, which is currently Business Finance. The science courses are dual enrollment courses for some students so this teacher also oversees the courses with our Crown College PSEO partnership, functioning as a teaching assistant. Full-time positions include additional full-time teacher responsibilities such things as staff development, team meetings, and functioning as a House advisor in our House system. Salary is based on education and years of classroom teaching experience. Ability to effectively educate in a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, and economically under-resourced urban community. Desire to equip the children of the city with an academically rigorous, comprehensive, classical Christian education to prepare them to deal with the complex issues of living in this present society. Willingness to go above and beyond in building relationships with students. Minimum BS or BA in Education preferred. Salary is based on education and years of classroom teaching experience. $46,250-$76,283. ‍
