A Science Teacher teaches in the natural science fields for elementary to secondary school students. Most science courses taught prior to high school are general, with specialization occurring later in high school. Teachers may teach specialized courses in physics, biology or chemistry. Other topics taught include physical science, computer science, astronomy, and geology.

Salary Range:
$6,324 per course load for the 2026-2027 school year (per 4 credit undergraduate course).
QUALIFICATIONS
: Minimum qualifications: A Master's Degree in exercise science or related field. Prior teaching experience and/or professional experience in field.
Preferred qualifications:
A terminal degree (Ph.D.) in exercise science or related health field and prior teaching experience.
