Adjunct Instructor -
Biology/Chemistry/Environmental Science Department:
Columbia College Global Location:
Main Campus, Columbia MO (Not remote)
Pay:
$450 - $2,150 per 8 week course (Pay range may vary based on geographic location) Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Description:
Columbia College seeks an Adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach synchronous courses in-seat after 5:00pm. After completing the application process, the candidate's application will be considered active for two years. Qualified applicants will be contacted if an opening in their respective fields becomes available. After two years, candidates may reapply to update their application and restate their interest.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications to teach undergraduate courses include a master's degree in Biology or other Biological Sciences field, Environmental Science, and/or Chemistry, including courses directly related to content area. Minimum qualifications to teach graduate courses include a doctorate degree in the related field including courses directly related to content area. Current professional experience in an associated field and higher education teaching experience are highly desired. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
