Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Secondary (7-12th grade) Education, or related field, from accredited college or university. Valid New Mexico Teacher Licensure, with endorsement(s) as applicable. Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) endorsement preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of New Mexico PED Academic Standards required. Must have or obtain - First Aid/CPR/AED certification for infant/child/adult Navajo Nation Food Handler's permit Bilingual in Dine & English preferred. Must be able to meet minimum physical requirements: sitting, standing, lifting, carrying (up to 50 lbs), reaching, squatting, kneeling, or moving light furniture may be required. Must have valid state-issued driver's license. •MUST be able to pass background checks for New Mexico state, Navajo Nation, and
FBI. SASI
schools currently utilize Beyond Textbooks curriculum framework.
