  • Las Vegas, NV We are seeking an engaging, knowledgeable, and energetic Science Teacher for a homeschool program in Las Vegas.
This role goes beyond traditional science instruction and focuses on helping students understand how the body works, health and wellness, fitness, nutrition, biology, and real-world science applications in an interesting and practical way. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, can connect well with students, and enjoys making science relevant to everyday life. Responsibilities
  • Teach middle school and high school level science in a homeschool setting
  • Focus on practical and engaging topics including:
  • Biology
  • Human anatomy & physiology
  • Health & wellness
  • Fitness and movement science
  • Nutrition
  • How the body works
  • Real-world science applications
  • Create interactive and engaging lesson plans tailored to the student
  • Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and healthy lifestyle habits
  • Adapt teaching style to different learning needs and personalities
  • Provide progress updates and maintain a positive learning environment Qualifications
  • Prior teaching, tutoring, homeschool, coaching, or educational experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of biology, health sciences, wellness, or fitness-related topics
  • Background in healthcare, kinesiology, nutrition, fitness, athletic training, or science is a plus
  • Patient, professional, organized, and dependable
  • Must be local to Las Vegas and able to teach in person
  • Experience working with middle school and/or high school students preferred Compensation & Benefits
